Newly leased in 2003, Lone Pine Extra (LPE) has many features desired by today's hunter.  Covering just over 700 acres, the area is bordered by the largest continuous prairie in Woodson County -- 17 sections with no public road access.  LPE features prairie bordered on the East by the Upper Cedar Creek and row crops and on the West by the Upper Brazil Creek and more row crops.  This is a virtual haven for white tail deer, wild turkey, quail, and prairie chicken.
