Lone Pine offers controlled shooting area (CSA) hunting for upland game including pheasant, chukar, and bobwhite quail.  Since 1978, this has been the core of our business.  Utilizing over 600 acres of prime hunting ground, we can easily accommodate up to five hunting parties at one time.  Most hunting areas can be enjoyed by a single hunter or a group of 5 or 6.  The landscape is like that of much of Southeast Kansas and includes prairie, cropland, a major creek, several sloughs, and timber.

If you don't have your own dog, we have several gun dogs available for your use, free of charge.  We also dress and package all harvested birds free of charge.   No bag limits and no membership necessary.  Our season runs from September through March.  Come and see us!!!

At Lone Pine, the hunting is operated under the rules and provisions set by the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks.  A hunting license is required for persons over 16 and under 65 years of age.  Controlled Shooting Area licenses are available for out-of-state hunters wherever hunting licenses are sold.  The cost is $17.50 and the licenses are good for a calendar year.
